Privacy Policy
Effective August 25, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how DevRaptors, operating CrowHub ("CrowHub," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you use the CrowHub marketplace.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use CrowHub, we may collect:
- Account and contact information, such as your email address, name, phone number, account role, and sign-in or verification data.
- Seller and store information, such as a store name, description, contact details, business details, and verification status.
- Private seller verification information, including the seller address supplied for verification. The verification address is not displayed to buyers.
- Listing content, including product names, descriptions, prices, availability, categories, and photos.
- Transaction information, including reservations, orders, deposits or payment status, pickup scheduling, cancellations, refunds, disputes, and related payment metadata.
- Pickup confirmation information, including QR-code issuance, scanning, confirmation, status, and associated timestamps.
- Communications, including buyer-seller messages, reports, and conversations with support.
- Technical and security information, such as device, browser, IP address, request logs, session, and security-event data.
- Safety and fraud records, including reports, evidence, investigation notes, enforcement actions, and transaction audits.
3. Location and proximity information
CrowHub does not store your device's precise GPS location. We derive geographic coordinates from seller address or postal-code information and use those geocodes for proximity checks, such as helping users find sellers nearby. The seller address collected for verification remains private and is not shared with buyers.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- create, verify, secure, and administer accounts and seller profiles;
- display listings and store information intended to be public;
- support search, proximity checks, reservations, payments, pickups, and QR confirmation;
- enable buyer-seller messaging and provide customer support;
- process refunds or disputes and investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or safety issues;
- send service, security, reservation, payment, pickup, and other transactional messages;
- operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve CrowHub; and
- comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect users, CrowHub, and others.
5. Payments and Stripe
Stripe provides payment processing and connected-account services for transactions made through CrowHub. Payment information you submit may be collected and processed directly by Stripe under its own privacy terms. CrowHub does not store full card numbers or card security codes. We may receive and retain payment metadata such as Stripe identifiers, card brand, last four digits, expiry information, transaction status, amounts, fees, payouts, refunds, and disputes as needed to operate and support transactions.
If buyers and sellers arrange cash or e-transfer, those payments occur outside CrowHub; do not send sensitive banking credentials through CrowHub messages.
6. AI-assisted listings and Google Gemini
When a seller chooses to use AI listing assistance, CrowHub may send relevant images and listing information to Google Gemini to generate suggested listing content. Use of this feature is limited to providing the requested assistance and supporting its safe and reliable operation. Sellers should avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information in material submitted for AI assistance.
7. When we disclose information
We may disclose information:
- to other users where needed for marketplace interactions, such as public seller and listing information or messages sent between a buyer and seller;
- to service providers that help us host, secure, communicate, process payments, provide AI assistance, support, or otherwise operate CrowHub, including Stripe and Google Gemini as described above;
- when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, enforce our Terms, investigate fraud or safety concerns, or protect rights, property, or people; and
- in connection with a proposed or completed business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.
We do not make private seller verification addresses public.
8. Communications
CrowHub currently sends transactional communications only, such as account verification, security, reservation, payment, pickup, messaging, and support notices. If CrowHub offers promotional communications in the future, they will be optional and sent subject to applicable consent requirements, with a way to withdraw consent.
9. Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including operating accounts and transactions, providing support, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and abuse, maintaining security and transaction records, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it is held. Some records may be retained after an account is deleted when required or permitted for these purposes.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
11. Access, correction, deletion, and complaints
You may ask to access or correct your personal information, request account deletion, or raise a privacy question or complaint by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Access, deletion, and other requests may be limited where the law allows or requires us to retain information, protect another person's privacy, preserve security or fraud records, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as CrowHub, law, or our privacy practices change. We will post the updated Policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by law.
13. Contact us
